Nokia C12 Plus Joins the C-Series Lineup in India

Nokia has broadened its C-series offerings in India with the launch of the Nokia C12 Plus. This new addition to the lineup follows the earlier releases of the C12 and C12 Pro, and offers a different memory configuration along with a larger battery, appealing to budget-conscious consumers.

Nokia C12 Plus A Budget-Friendly Option with a Larger Battery

The Nokia C12 Plus is equipped with a 6.3-inch IPS LCD panel, providing a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. Under the hood, it features a 1.6GHz Unisoc octa-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, and a 4,000mAh battery. Interestingly, the C12 Plus uses the same Unisoc SC9863A1 chip found in the C12 and C12 Pro models.

Cameras Designed for Casual Photography

For photography enthusiasts on a budget, the C12 Plus offers an autofocus-enabled 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. These cameras may not be on par with flagship models, but they are suitable for casual photography and social media sharing.

Android 12 Go Edition and Other Features

The Nokia C12 Plus comes with Android 12 (Go Edition), a lightweight version of the operating system optimized for entry-level smartphones. Other notable features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, dual SIM support, dual 4G VoLTE, a microUSB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Pricing and Availability

In terms of pricing, the Nokia C12 Plus is priced at INR 7,999 (approximately $100/€90) in India. It comes in three color options Light Mint, Charcoal, and Dark Cyan. As a comparison, the Nokia C12, which features 2 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, is priced at INR 5,999, while the C12 Pro is available in 2GB+64GB and 3GB+64GB variants, priced at INR 6,999 and INR 7,999, respectively.

While the availability details for the Nokia C12 Plus have not been announced yet, interested consumers should keep an eye out for further information from HMD Global, the parent company of Nokia.
