Insiders are growing more confident that the new product will make its debut this spring. Ross Young, an analyst at DSCC, disclosed that panel production for the 15-inch MacBook Air is already underway this month, hinting that the laptop could arrive as early as April.
Design and Specifications
While detailed technical specifications remain scarce, the design is expected to be similar to the current 13-inch model, with the primary distinctions being an increase in size and a 15.5-inch display.
New Naming and Chip Options
Famed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has previously suggested that Apple may drop the “MacBook Air” branding for this model, opting to call it simply “MacBook.” Unlike the 13-inch MacBook Air, the new product will likely be available with both M2 and M2 Pro chip options.
