Issues with iOS 16.4
Some iPhone users have reported problems with the Weather app displaying no data and iOS 16.4 forgetting Wi-Fi passwords. In response, Apple is rumored to be preparing an emergency iOS 16.4.1 update, which could be released this week or next.
Upcoming Software Updates
While developers have already been seeded with iOS 16.5 beta, Apple may release the iOS 16.4.1 update before finalizing the newer version. The iOS 16.5 update, expected in May, includes minor changes such as a Sports tab in the Apple News app and Siri-enabled screen recording.
Looking Ahead to iOS 17
Apple is likely to announce iOS 17 at WWDC 2023, taking place from June 5 through June 9.
