Google Pixel 7a Set to Debut at Google I/O, Launching in India on Flipkart

The highly-anticipated Google Pixel 7a is expected to make its debut during Google’s annual I/O developer conference on May 10. In a teaser tweet, Google India has confirmed that the mid-range device will be available to Indian consumers through Flipkart starting May 11, just a day after its official announcement.

Key Features and Upgrades of the Google Pixel 7a

According to rumors, the Pixel 7a will be powered by Google’s Tenso G2 SoC and feature a 64MP main camera, both significant upgrades from last year’s Pixel 6a. The device is said to sport a 6.1-inch FHD+ (1080p) resolution display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Google Tensor 2 SoC, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a front-facing 13MP lens. It will also support wireless charging and offer “24-hour battery life” (rumored to be a 4400mAh battery) with fast wired charging capabilities.

Pixel 7a Pricing and Availability

The Google Pixel 7a is rumored to be priced at $499 in the U.S., featuring 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. Buyers are also expected to receive a free VPN for more secure browsing, a feature currently available to Google One subscribers and Pixel 7 series owners. The Pixel 7a will be available in Arctic Blue, Carbon, and Cotton color options.
