Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Expected to Boast Bigger, High-Resolution Displays

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Watch 6 is rumored to have larger screens and improved resolutions, according to leaks from Ice universe and Ice Universe (@UniverseIce).

Galaxy Watch 6 Display and Resolution Enhancements

The leaks suggest that the Galaxy Watch 6 will be available in 40mm and 44mm sizes. The 40mm version is expected to feature a 1.31-inch display with a 432 x 432-pixel resolution, while the 44mm version could have a 1.47-inch OLED screen with a 480 x 480-pixel resolution. These enhancements represent a 10% and 5% increase in screen size for the 40mm and 44mm versions, respectively, and a 19% and 13% increase in resolution.

Other Rumored Features

Although blood glucose monitoring is still a few years away, the Galaxy Watch 6 series is likely to include similar health and fitness tracking features as its predecessor, such as blood pressure monitoring, ECG, GPS, heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking. The smartwatches may also have an MIL-STD-810G design with IP68 dust and water resistance, along with connectivity features like GPS, NFC, and Wi-Fi.
